Located in Fort Lauderdale on a 40-acre site surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway in an area considered the Yachting Capital of America.  The resort included a world-famous full-service 350-slip marina with complete first-class facilities, and a hotel comprised of two adjoining buildings containing a total of 297 rooms.  The Resort also included 13,000 sq. ft of meeting space and 26,600 sq. ft. of retail space.  The property was acquired in June of 1994 and a Radisson franchise obtained.  An $8 million renovation was completed which included the rooms, public spaces, marina, restaurant, resort store and market/deli.
